What do I get with my donation?All donations will have their company’s logo displayed on event materials and on the HONOR website. Attendance to the event is also available based on the level of the donation selected. Each donation is tax deductible and receipts are provided to all donors. Who do I reach out to if I would like to donate?If you would like to donate to one or all of the departments supported by the HONOR event, click HERE and select your level of giving. Please fill out the information required to receive additional communication about how to submit payment. If you are referring to goody bag items(s)/raffles please see HERE.

Where do I send donations?All financial donations are accepted online through the department(s) foundation's website or by check(s) made out to the foundation(s) you wish to support. Information regarding where to donate / send the checks will be provided after submitting the required information on the DONATE page.

Why are you supplying a goody bag?As a way to show the officers and responders that we appreciate everything they do, and that we understand how demanding their job can be, we provide items that help them get through their shift.

What is needed for the goody bag?We are always looking for high protein and healthy snacks to provide nourishment during a long shift, coupons/gift cards for meals, personal hygiene or first-aid items, tokens of appreciation, or things they can keep in their vehicle or desk to use while on the job.

Where can I send or drop off raffle prizes and/or goody bag items?Please contact Mychelle Humphris at mhumphris@evans-gc.com to coordinate shipment or to drop of the item(s).

Can I pay online?Yes! Fill out the form on the Donate page to receive links. Please email all donation receipts to mhumpris@evans-gc.com for event recognition.

How do I receive my donation tax receipt?If the event has concluded, and you have allowed for a minimum of 2 weeks following the conclusion of the event, tax receipts can be requested by directly contacting the Foundation in which a tax receipt is needed. Can I pay by check?Yes! While we prefer online donations, check(s) can be made out specifically to the Foundation receiving the donation. Evans General Contractors can not process any checks made out to HONOR or to Evans General Contractors. Any checks not made out to the right recipient will need to be voided and rewritten. How do I get involved for next year's event?If interested in next year’s event, please sign up to our mailing list or submit an inquiry through our contact form. Someone from HONOR will reach out regarding opportunities available.

Will K9’s be at the event and can we pet them?K9’s and their handlers are invited to the event. As with any dog, you must absolutely ask the handler before approaching. It is important to remember that the patrol dogs are trained in handler protection, and they will know best how to introduce you properly if petting is an option.

Is this event open to the Public?While we would like to have the community attend, this is NOT currently an event open to the public. Attendance is invitation only and reserved to those participating in the HONOR event.

Are there other ways I can support the HONOR event?An event of this magnitude takes a lot of behind-the-scenes efforts. We are always looking for businesses or vendors that may be interested in providing catering, rentals, transportation, or floral and décor. If you may be interested in providing some of these vendor services, please reach out through our contact form.

Can I submit a suggestion, recommendation, or comment about the event?We are always open to ideas and welcome constructive feedback. Please send them through the contact form.

When, where, and what time is the Event?The HONOR event is typically held in the fall during the months of October or November. Specific details regarding the date, time, and location of the event are given to those via invitation only. All event sponsors and donors will receive event information as part of their participation.

Where should I Park?Parking details will be made available closer to the event. We reserve open/close parking for the officers and responders and will provide additional parking opportunities or shuttle services to others as needed.

Who can attend?If you are affiliated with any of the supported departments, you are welcome to attend. This entire event is to show appreciation for the service you provide to the community. All other attendees are by invitation only or specified based on donation levels.

Is there a mailing list I can subscribe to get notifications on future events?If you would like to be notified of event status, there is a mailing list sign up at the bottom of this page. By signing up, you will receive communication regarding the date, time, and location of next year’s event and your information will only be used for the purpose of providing insight on the annual HONOR event.

Who is HONOR supporting?HONOR supports tax exempt 501(C)(3) organizations that directly provide financial assistance and resources to Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell, Georgia public safety and law enforcement departments.

What is Evans General Contractors participation in the HONOR event?Evans General Contractors is the founder of HONOR and provides the sole coordination of event logistics. They in no way profit from this event but merely wish to give back to those who keep our communities and businesses safe.

What is HONOR?HONOR stands for Honoring Our Neighborhood Officers & Responders and was created as a means for local businesses to show their appreciation for those that keep our communities safe.
